Being without job isn't ideal situation in one's life. Even though you may have some savings, it hurts to find out them eroded by the regular monthly bills you must pay. These being said, you feel more and more willing to accept occupations you'd have never considered before. The end result can be interesting. In certain situations it may even create a new and successful career.
And this is what happened to me. Laid off, I soon found myself prepared to accept just any kind of job, as long as it paid well enough to allow me pay my bills and lead a good quality life. I entered copier sales with out thinking it's going to become among the passions. When you sell copiers, you need to learn everything regarding their features and how these characteristics translate into benefits for your consumers. In fact, the sales process is all about selling benefits that cater to certain needs, rather than enumerating the features and technical specifics of a machine, hoping the client is going to get excited about them and place and order. The simple truth is people get interested only if they discover your equipment can solve among their problems better than the machines of one's competitors. This revelation has evolved my life and my means of perceiving the activity of a sales person. Today I'm proud of being one.
